Steps

  1. Standard Description

    When stringing tomatoes, the plant is always wound clockwise around the string

    when viewed from above. This is equivalent to winding the string clockwise

    around the plant. The purpose of this convention is to eliminate hesitation and

    speed up ongoing maintenance by ensuring that every staff member uses the same

    direction every time.

  2. Measurement Method

    Visual inspection of newly strung tomato plants to confirm that the wind

    direction is consistently clockwise.

  4. Review and Maintenance

    Review annually at the start of the tomato season or sooner if inconsistencies
